Recently stayed in a powered site. At $74 dollars a night, I was expecting a lot more. The camp kitchen was dangerous, one of the knobs for the BBQ was stuck in the on position, the pool was green and the toilet block needed cleaning. I get …
10 days in the park and I felt like home right from the start. Clean rooms, far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough to all amenities.5 min drive. Staff were friendly and very approachable and you could have a good laugh with them. Cabin had all that I could have needed. I will be staying there again on my next travels. Outback Caravan Park exceeded expectations. Affordable room for 5, each cabin with parking and outdoor seating. Well-equipped with cooking facilities, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Tight security with coded gates, restricting outsider access. Bonus features include an on-site petrol station and Tesla-compatible EV charging station, enhancing convenience for travelers. Highly recommended for a satisfying and secure stay.
When our car broke down, we were able to stay a couple of days at this campground. Lee the owner, helped us enormously and no question was too much.
He even brought us in the middle of the night to the bus stop.
Felt super safe and cared for, can definitely recommend this campground for a safe and comfortable stop.
Rooms clean and tidy offers air-conditioning, fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities.
Good security with gates close at 6pm each day.
I found Very friendly and helpful staff and being a few streets from main highway not a great deal of traffic noise.
Reasonable price
Quiet out of the way, older cabins but self contained. Very good professional check in and customer service. Tennant Creek town shuttered up like a riot zone. Refer to the NT Police blog for latest reported shenanigans.
Very secure site with security gates, and nice room.
Pool could have been maintained a little better, and some minor repairs to rooms (flyscreen on door) could improve.
I still recommend this location for travellers.
I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely room we had in a container! Beautifully cool on arrival, and clean and neat. Good location, friendly staff and service. Only one chair though, for the two of us (we had to take turns! ;) Would stay again. Lovely park to walk around (to make up our steps for the day!), with some interesting painted trees!
